Cala Gonone is a renowned location in East Sardinia that boast stunning beaches in hidden bays, protected by almost impenetrable cliffs covered in lush Mediterranean vegetation. In this adventure we set off to reach its staple beach, Cala Luna, on an exhausting 60-km mountain bike ride started all wrong and somehow recovered.
