About Us
Hello and welcome from the Adventures Outdoor team!
We are a couple of outdoor enthusiasts based between Basel, Switzerland and Milan, Italy, with a passion for mountain biking and hiking.
We are nothing like professional athletes, so you will find our adventures inspiring and spectacular whilst being accessible to most people with reasonable fitness levels.
We are both members and above all friends of the guys at ItalyBike Adventures with whom we share almost all of our experiences. Check out their site and join their amazing tours.
What is Adventures Outdoor?
Back in 2015, we were doing many miles in the outdoor but had no proper way to give justice to our adventures.
Conventional photo storage apps were not enough. Our mission was to look at these adventures one day in the future and feel like we just completed them, bringing back memories but also emotions. What a better way than a blog, then? Not only photos but also narration, with the thrill of sharing them with like-minded readers.
After a few weeks of self-taught WordPress design in early 2018, Adventures Outdoor was born.
